When all the signs of spring begin appearing before us, including daylight savings, we begin to imagine lush lawns, beach vacations, barbeques--everything that speaks to a more relaxed, easier time. Winter can be harsh--the weather makes it harder to connect with nature. But spring is summer's invitation for us all to wake up from our winter doldrums and begin anew...again.
You've got to love how every year, you're given another chance to start fresh. I know I do.
Though today isn't the official day of spring, I wanted to wish you all the very best as you spring forward toward gentler days. Keep thinking of new things to learn and new ways to grow with each new week. By now, you could have learned 12 new things if you started in January. If you haven't yet started, that's okay, too--we're in the time of new beginnings--a whole season of it. Take the time you need to bloom and grow.
Until next time, dear readers....
