So, last week I recommended learning one new thing for each new week; I tried a new recipe last week. This week, I will be completing the philosophical tome by Naomi Zack just released from VIP, The Handy Philosophy Answer Book. It's a magnum opus of philosophy. If you think you know a lot about philosophy, you don't know as much as you think until you read this book. And if you don't know much about philosophy at all, this book is for you, too! Engaging, accessible and super-informative, Zack's book takes philosophy to an ENTIRELY new level. I'm halfway through--and learning tons of new things for my new week.

Want some dish on True Blood & Philosophy? It comes out at the end of May but is set to hit shelves June 1st. It is an UNAUTHORIZED look at the TV show with some references to my dear Charlaine Harris's Sookie Stackhouse novels. Between you and me, my chapter, along with another, was cut from the book...too controversial. There is a great chapter on vampire politics by law professor, William Curtis--one of my favs in the book. I'll be sure to share more reveals about the upcoming book soon!
