All 45-minute telesessions are for individual use only and are done through Zoom; you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours of securing your appointment online. There are no refunds; clients can reschedule up to 24 hours before the start of their session at Dr. Housel's discretion. Dr. Housel reserves the right of refusal on an as-needed basis.
By requesting an appointment, clients accept responsibility for payment of their session, whether they attend or not. Appointments must be secured no less than 24 hours in advance. *Sliding scale fee for individuals with household incomes of $50,000 or less seeking weekly or biweekly sessions. There is a $75 cancellation fee for all sessions with more than 48 hours notice; less than 48 hours or no shows are the cost of the appointment. Fees reflect discounts in recognition of ongoing COVID pandemic and will be re-evaluated on 1 January of each year.
Dr. Housel has 20+ years experience as an advocate, educator and coach. She is the author of "Survive Anything" for Psychology Today and an author and editor in the Mental Health for Millennials book series. Dr. Housel is also a mental health expert for 7Cups.com on patient advocacy and suicide. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and holds affiliate membership in the American Academy of Clinical Neuropsychology, the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, Hypnosis Alliance and Natural Healer Society with postgraduate study/continuing ed accredited by the American Medical Association (Harvard Medical School 2020-2021) as well as the APA for telehealth, parenting, relationships, anxiety, depression, insomnia, trauma, and grief.
